What if...

I would like to start a "What if..." thread. Please ask hypothetical questions and see what results you get. Ill start us off with an example.

What if, jeeps or any vehicle for that matter, did what a recip engine (ones with the propellers) on an aircraft does, and used 2 spark plugs per piston?

Then there would be no jeeps. The jeep was invented when a man said "What if, we could go anywhere?"

What if someone created a new JF account with a username to imply to all of us that "he" is 17 and topless, leading us obviously into unwary thoughts of underage teens with no shirts on and making us question the very moral fiber of our souls? AND then what if said newb created a thread in GD to try and draw in the masses of JF-ites that F5 on GD all day when they are supposed to be working?

Hmm... what if indeed...

What if you knew the exact day you would die but not the cause?

"Sandstorms inflict damage of about $540 million per year, and losses of crops and forests due to acid rain amount to about $730 million per year. More serious are the $6 billion costs of the "green wall" of trees being built to shield Beijing against sand and dust, and the $7 billion per year of losses created by pest species. We enter the zone of impressive numbers when we consider the onetime cost of the 1996 floods ($27 billion, but still cheaper than the 1998 floods), the annual direct losses due to desertification ($42 billion), and the annual losses due to water and air pollution ($54 billion). The combination of the latter two items alone costs China the equivalent of 14% of its GDP each year." - Jared Diamond, Collapse: How Societies Choose to Fail or Succeed

What if the southern gentleman myth was actual true?

What if Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton were to get married?

Jeep: A four-wheel drive vehicle of one-half- to one-and-one-half-ton capacity for reconnaissance or other army duty. A term applied to the bantam-cars, and occasionally to other motor vehicles (U.S.A.) in the Air Corps, the Link Trainer; in the armored forces, the ½-ton command vehicle. Also referred to as "any small plane, helicopter, or gadget."
