I own a benelli m4 with a pistol grip and can shoot 7 shells in 2-3 seconds and I'm fine, I agree I don't understand why their called "wristbreakers" either

That's semi-auto though right? I'd imagine the recoil on a semi 12ga would be a bit less than a pump...but I've emptied my mossy pump (5 rounds) from the hip (standard stock, not pistol grip) and really didn't think it was all that bad. Maybe we're just that much tougher?

I'll be carrying a s&w sd40 soon as if comes in and I get my ccl. I'll probably buy a .22 ruger to bring at the ohv areas where shooting is allowed since ammo is so cheap for then.

Maybe I'm wrong for admitting this, but my immediate reaction was "well we know who's on probation." But that may be more a reflection on me than you, Lumen.

Thanks. I built it myself, but all total, like it sits in the picture, about 3 grand.

S&W M&P .40 or S&W M&P .40c, depending on if I'm going to carry it IWB or in the console. Wife and I have permits.
