I'm not that cheap... I'll need at least $25.

Oh, the thread... oops! I carry a few. Springfield Armory 1911 EMP .40, XDM .45acp and my ever trusty ball peen hammer but thinking of upgrading the peen to the Stanley Fubar demo hammer...

I carry an old 1911 and several magazines and a few boxes of ammo. I also keep a .22 Beretta in the center console along with a spare mag and several boxes of ammo.

When I wheel locally I will add a pistol grip 20 gauge loaded with 00 and slugs. I'm not well liked by some of my neighbors because we no longer give credit in my store. That's the main reason I ride heavy.

I'm serious. In the past 5 years, I've been shot at 4 times, once while standing on my front porch. (I live above my store and I was getting my morning paper when I was shot at.) I'm just glad none of my enemies take their shooting as serious as I do.

The extra ammo is for plinking backcountry when appropriate. I carry the shotgun on my ATV when backcountry. I also carry extra ammo for it too.

I live and own a business in one of the poorest counties in NM. When I offered credit to my customers, I started seeing that my bill was always the last the credit customers would consider paying and then they'd harass my employees when I wouldn't let them charge until the bill was paid. I finally had enough and stopped the credit. I was shot at the first time within one week of shutting down the credit. (The first time in NM that is.)

While I am a target for my neighbors, I seldom carry on my person outside of when I'm backcountry. I always have guns in my Jeep and on my ATV though. I'm most vulnerable backcountry.

4D cell maglite, couple pocket knives, and a SW .40 usually.

No cops in BFE so no one has a carry permit for wheeling. I'm going to get my permit for MI here soon and probably take the Utah class too.
