X's 1000 on the fusion. I'm the guy that sasquatch takes pictures of. I can shave every couple hours if I wanted to. Their blades outlast any other that I've tried. I get 'em in bulk at Sam's club ( talk expensive) I spend about $60 on razor blades at a time. But no other blade lasts as long. You can shave your face every day for 3 weeks & still not worry about nickin' your junk gettin' ready for a date!

I shave every day. I use a safety razor most days, but use a straight razor for special occassions. Nothing gives a better shave.

I used to use the wife's venus when I was shaving in the shower. Then I switched to a brush and shave soap, and went back to using my mach3

I tried using a straight razor years ago but never quite got the hang of it. My old barber used to give a shave when when I got a haircut and I really liked the results.

I think it's a dying art; he had the same hole in the wall barber shop in Pittsburgh since he got back from Korea.

That's what works for me. I used to shave every 3 or 4 days because I used to get killer razor burn. Since I started doing that I can shave everyday if I like and don't get the razor burn.

I use my grandfather's old razor but it pretty much looks like this: http://www.classicshaving.com/catalog/item/522941/5416207.htm
Same here, I have a pretty decent collection and don't use a razor newer then 1958 happens to be the year of my newest razor which is a 1958 Gillette Fatboy (it was my dads).

but my favorites are a the Schick Injectors and have a couple from first year production, my favorite of them is the one where the blades are stored in the handle and when you want a new blade the head is hinged so you can turn it side ways, then you grab the reload handle at the bottom of the handle and pull it out to basically chamber a round (blade), then you push the piece back in and in slides the new blade into the head which also spits the old blade out........... the story is that Schick was very interested in the new rifles being made in the day and wanted to simulate that in his design.

I also have a few straight blade razors and more soaps, lotions, creams then I can count, I do not use the caned foam or gel and I do not use the cheap shave soaps from the the grocery store,

It may sound like work but collecting the old shaving stuff, taking care of it, and using it is actually pretty fun and relaxing...........Now I like shaving and I hardly ever get an ingrown hair.

and classic shave is a great place to start if you are interested.
