hey guys, this is my apology letter-- im sorry if i offended anyone on this thread. i was down on my luck, and i might have been dramatic about it. i learned that i dont have it bad at all, and i was being a brat. growing up is about learning, and ive learned a lot this summer. im thankful for everything my dads done for me, including the jeep, and for the tough love you guys gave me. you guys can keep talking **** about me if you want-- but im at ease now with everyone. my dad offered me money and i told him its to keep it a few days ago. i didnt get on the forum because i was in houston doing a job with him, and on the way there we had a long hard talk, and it goes without saying that things were straightened out. thanks for all of yalls kind words- tex

to clear some things up, i would work every day after school, and all day on weekends before the summer, my old man would pay me around 500 a month for that... but something got into him this summer. and he started paying me half, from twice the amount of work i would do... out of the 500 he would give me i would give him about 350 for utility costs, (pre summer) 100 for my phone/gas and the rest as pocket money. since he cut down my wage for whatever reason, he told me "just pay me next month." idk how im gonna do that but ill find a way, oh well. he officially gave me the jeep when i got accepted to texas state, like in march- since then he's been teasing me enough to keep me interested, but hardly shows signs of actually helping me with it. (its 20 hours away. in mexico. cmon) im going off to college soon and all he says is "we'll get it when we get it."

i probably wont be as active untill i get it. i mean, whats the point of being here if i dont have the jeep yet huh

Where's the fun in that?!

If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.

The only reason I haven't closed it was because there was an apology at the end. There is room for more apologies for those that were flaming as well. We are jeepers and are such a community that helps each other out instead of kicking each other when we're down.

Welcome to the internet. If you put it online, it's fair game for discussion.
This thread has run it's course. Good luck on the trip to get your CJ.
