Ok, I'm old enough to admit I could have seen the Beatles but stupidly turned the opportunity down. It was after they split up that I finally became a huge fan of their music.

don't know about band, but I wish i had seen peter gabriel in the early years, as well as Bowie when he was on the diamond dogs tours..

Its only as you get older you start to appreciate what was before..

wouldn't have minded seeing Deep purple either when they first released smoke on the water either..

The Beatles. They're basically all that I listen to. CDs in the car, records in the living room. Pure genius. I would give my XJ to see see Paul or Ringo back together for a "Half Beatles" concert. [sigh]

My parents still regret not seeing the group at Shea Stadium (1966?). That missed opportunity turned out to be their last stage performance, other than the impromtu gig on the studio roof in 1970.

Nirvana were on tour in Australia when they suddenly became the biggest thing in the world. They were booked to play at the bar at the University in my town. The venue fits no more than 200 people.

The hottest band on the planet were playing and I was outside trying my best lines on some girl I don't even remember anymore. I'm an idiot.

If I could see any bands I can't now, they would have to include:

"Newer" bands:
Rage Against the Machine
Nirvana
Sublime

"Older" bands:
Jimi Hendrix
Led Zepplin
and of course, Pink Floyd.
