Weirdest clouds I've ever seen (not dial-up friendly)

As I was leaving for school today, I thought to myself, something is going to happen today, I better bring my camera. As I was leaving the school, I walked outside and noticed these crazy clouds, I took meteorology, but I don't have a clue what was going on in the atmosphere with these clouds.

Any ideas?

FYI, They are pretty grainy, I took them handheld.

Forget dial up, I need to stretch those pics across one 27" and two 24" monitors just to see them in their entirety.

It's a pretty strong Occluded front.
I've seen them a bunch of times coming up the east coast. Just off hatteral where the gulf stream starts to jog west you will see the Hattaras Wall. It almast exactly matches where the warm gulf waters and the cold atlantic meet.
It is kind of creepy the first time but after a while it was just the best indication we were almost home.

edit
I snagged a pic off the web of the Hatteras wall
