Which way do you install a new toilet paper roll?

Does the paper roll off the front or back side of the roll? I do what any rational person would do and have it unroll from the front. I'm surprised at the number of folks I notice that have the TP unroll from the back. Why would you do this? It's stupid.

Exactly, why would ANYONE want to have to go to the rear of the roll to grab the TP! My guess is more women like it that way than do men... perhaps they don't want that horrible raw edge hanging from the front to ruin the "look" of the bathroom?

Gone wheeling, back Sunday evening.

i think its called over hand or under hand. atleast thats what ive heard before. i grew up with overhand(from the front) so thats what i do. one of my cats likes to unravel the tp in the guest bathroom so we put that one under hand so he cant make a mess

I am a "over the top" guy, but I have managed to evolve and survive in "from the back" situations by sitting sideways on the toilet and using the other hand while winking my left eye. All that is opposite if I am south of the equator. You may say I am ambuttdexterious.

Toilet paper roll holders are for wussies. I put my TP roll on the 3rd shelf down of the towel rack straight in front of me. I pick it up and put my 4x4 magazine down do the 2 handed roll off, sort of a mummy wrap of one hand with the other, tear off, place roll on magazines and, you know the rest.

Whichever way I grab the particular roll is the way it is going to go on. As long as I have paper, I don't care.

I use the toilet roll holder... but I just set the roll on top of the holder... much simpler than actually putting the roll in the holder.
