Warn Diff Skid ate a cinderblock this morning.

Today on the way to work a cinder block kamikaze'd offa the truck ahead of me. In heavy traffic my swerving room was severely limited and I chose the one offroading no-no, i aimed for the diff knowing that my warn skid could use a few more nicks. The results were a nice loud thud and a decent amount of cinder shrapnel shooting from the back of the jeep.

I must have been lucky cause I dont even see a nick on the tierod, although it looks like someone dusted the diff with flour.

Sorry kids, no pics.

This story justifies building up a Jeep simply for pounding pavement. Mall crawling at its best!

That's impressive stuff.

I hit a brick once in my Malabu, and destroyed a rim and some plastic. A teeny little brick. You hit a cinderblock, and got nothin.

I think he may have left out the part where he **** his pants.

The only two times I've ever hit something (shredded truck tire; 5 gal gas jug) were when I saw both objects a good 10 seconds before impact -- unfortunately, the dumb *** drivers in front of me in both instances didn't (each with the obligatory cell phone glued to their ear). They both tagged them and threw them into my path at 60 MPH. Thanks a lot, retards.

I'm sorry.

I would classify it as the Double Corner style.

And here's a skid from a random vehicle from a random site.

I suspect that this man was the drvier of the truck
