Wanna fly?

Actually has 8 "real turbines" at about $1500 each! Took over 2 years to build. It has a wing span of about 22 feet. Takes multiple pilots, as there are so many things to control. Think they were nervous during the maiden flight? Unbelievable that someone would make this - all real turbines! Check out the movie link below to see the first flight.

I got this in an email today. Pretty interesting stuff. Sorry if it is a repost, but it is still a cool plane!

Nobody uses a treadmill, let alone a powered one, so the point is irrelevant. All treadmills are known to have at least 6.734" of dust on them from non-use.

SO not true. A friend of mine rigged his treadmill to run from the kitchen to the den. When he's watching the game his wife can stick food and beer on it and roll it out to him.

That's no longer a treadmill... that's a conveyor belt.

Sad to say, but that model had an unfortunate end: Crash video.

Very cool plane. A lot of time and $$$ went into it, I'm sure.
