Not necessarily insult someone for wearing it, but wear one myself? No.

I would have to say no. It is not proper to wear undergarments with a kilt. So I would end up stepping on my johnson and dragging it around in the dirt if I were to wear one of those. Now if it was also customary to wear underwear with it. I wouldn't wear it in case my buddy fell out of the underwear. Nothing like talking to someone and shifting your weight from one leg to the other and have your johnson fall out on the ground. Sort of scares the kids and makes the women faint. It is easier to wear long pants and avoid the troubles.

EVERYBODY is pro-gun, some just don't know it. When an anti-gun person is in trouble, the first thing they do is call 911 and demand that they send somebody with a gun!

True, but I wear bib overalls, just slide the straps over my shoulders and I am ready to go no zippers to warn anyone. Heck you didn't hear me last time so I must be getting pretty good at being quiet.

There's some attention-seeking goober in my graphics class that wears a scottish kilt sometimes. I can't help but think it's ridiculous.

That looks like those "skorts" that were really popular when I was in middle school. Plus, anybody who wears one of those is a total *****. "He" needs the attention so he wears the kilt, but wants you to know how bad *** he is by having it in olive drab and made from cotton twill so it still is comfortable. Then it has cargo pockets just like my shorts. On top of that, the wearer is so bad *** that he had a communist belt buckle just so you know how anti-authority he is by wearing a controversial symbol.

If you're going to wear something like that, prepare to not be taken seriously and know that people will snicker behind your back about being a *****ball. If you want one of those, maybe you should settle for a pair of shorts with the cargo pockets. You can call them "Utili-shorts" if it makes you feel better. Unless this was a ploy to show off your partially re-grown foreskin.

Kilts are only not silly when worn at games where you throw logs end over end, perhaps taking place in some European island’s highlands.

If the owner of a Hummer ever threatens to crush your Jeep there is a simple means of escape, just drive off the road.

Exactly. Unless you're hurling stones or playing bagpipes, kilts don't have much that they're good for.

Even those kilts are plaid and denote some clan membership.

These utili-kilts only denote that you think you're "unique".

I heard these will be replacing current BDU/ACU in an effort to save money. They will also keep the troops 7.312 deg. cooler while they are over in the sandbox.

I used to drive by their store everyday on my way to work. A lot of guys here in Seattle wear them. I wouldn't, but I have no problem with those that do.

Nothing wrong with them at all. I have a friend that has been wearing his for several years now. There have been some chuckles, but once folks get told to quit laughing or eat fist, the laughing seems to halt. Let people wear what they want. I've worn a kilt before, and it's actually very liberating.
