I think expos are pretty sweet, its what im aiming my zj to look like not overly huge 3.5-4.5 with 33s arb locked(eventually) Bunch of storage options and many goodies for camping/expoing. Gotta love tax returns!

I would grab that up in a heartbeat!! I would love to be able to cruise around in a decently lifted tj and still get in the 20s for mpg

The RHD takes a little getting used to.

The only part I don't like is turning left across incoming traffic when there are other people turning left from the incoming direction. I also need a passenger if I want to go through a drive-thru.

Yeah, I plan to eventually add a drawer system, roof rack, etc.

I'll be lifting 2" and running 285/75R17's (~34"x11.5"). Normally I wouldn't go that big for mpg reasons, but the diesels don't tend to notice the larger tires in any significant way. I'm glad these things can handle large tires (axles are huge) and they don't need much lift to do it (I could run 37's easily with a 4" lift). The 34's combined with the lockers should make it plenty capable for anything I plan on doing and I have a Warn 8274 if they aren't enough.

Sounds like a good plan!

Do they come armored up underneath to? Seems like it came with everything else

Thats pretty sweet though not having to invest much money in extras, besides tires to get a pretty capable rig.

Edit: I came up with a pretty decent drawer system for my zj a few months ago, If I can get my lazy butt to the hardware store for supplys. I want to add a detachable fold out extension that comes up to the back of the front seats, so I have a a flat and pretty comfortable bed to sleep on if I dont want to put the tent up/sever weather storms.

I think the storage drawers will make camping so much more enjoyable, having eveything organized. Not just piled on top of each other in the back.

For the most part. I will definitely need rocker protection at some point and one of the small skids underneath is made of plastic (I have no idea what the engineers were thinking that day), so I may end up upgrading that as well.

I'm still thinking about how I want to do my drawers. I've seen some really nice ones for sale, but I just can't justify the prices vendors are asking so I'll definitely be making my own.

I'm currently shopping for a 100 Series as my new expo rig. The Jeep will also stay but the Hundy will be my everything probably. Including wallet emptier.

I've seen your posts on expo. I think I directed you towards Land Cruisers when you posted on there a couple months ago.

Good luck with your search! You won't regret it.
