Types?

So I know as close to nothing about jeeps as is possible except that I love them. What's the deal with all the different kinds? I know I have a YJ Laredo and that that supposidly has bells and whistles over the other YJs (or so I hear). What are the others and whats the differences? Thanks alot.

Hmmm... Where to start?

YJ's I know:
Renegade - Upgraded base options, plus goofy body cladding
Laredo - Upgraded base options, usually 4-cyl
Rio Grande - trim and appearance, 4-cyl only
Sahara - Everything PLUS the kitchen sink, 6-cyl only
Base Wrangler - 4 or 6 cyl, BYO options
All YJ's - Crappy Dana 35C rear axle

CJ's I know:
CJ7 - 4, 6 or 8 cyl, BYO options, crappy 5-spd.
CJ7 Renegade - same (maybe no 8 cyl?)
CJ5 - 4 or 6 cyl, BYO options
Most CJ5/7's - finnicky AMC20 rear axle

Okay, so my CJ knowledge sucks. But I think I got the 411 basics on the YJ.
