Turning this motorcycle, into this.

So my buddy is selling his bike. It's an older Yamaha, great working condition, just needs some cosmetic touches. Whata you guys think, any suggestions?

Into something similar to this

I'd just get some longer, old school Ceriani forks for it and call it a day. The second one looks way too stripped down, ape hangers look like *** on Japanese bikes, plus it needs more rake. It looks twitchy.

I like how the license plate is screwed directly into the rear tire. I bet that's hard for the Po-Po to read.

Oh wait is that a bracket? That sucks.

I'd also glass bead the trans and the jugs. Maybe get a steering damper.

I think it would be much better if you put a straight handle bar on it.

I'd pay more for the yellow version than the black. A lot more.

Glass bead? You must bear with me, I'm new to bikes. and I've been around sport bikes more than cruisers.

TWITCHY is the word. Those ape hangers will make that bike handle like like poop. Hey thats the fun of it though. Build what you want and keep on building until you get it right for you.
