truck in district 9

the military drives around in these white trucks in the movie district 9, and idk what it is but it kinda looked sweet cause it had a snorkle on the side and big tires and all, it was probably nothing special but they looked kinda cool, anyone know what it is?

The pickup is a 2006 Hilux, ~37" tires, modded ARB bumper, tube armor. The APC's are a Caspir and an MRAP I believe

CORRECTION

The truck is indeed at 2006 Toyota Hilux but I was wrong about the APC's.

Reumech OMC Casspir

Reumech OMC Ratel

Reumech OMC RG-12

The Ratel in the movie is a prototype version 8x8, all the vehicles that were use int he movie are probably on duty right now in Africa since they were borrowed form the UN, modified for the movie and then returned.

There is one close-up of one of the Hilux trucks that I swear was running SS Boggers.

No kidding, the Hilux is awesome. I'm trying to decide between importing a '95 Hilux or an ex-MOD Land Rover Defender 130 for my next vehicle (Another vehicle that sorely needs to be imported.)
