Tomb Raider Jeep info now up on official Jeep site

reallllly cool, i saw the commercial and my dad said "does she come with the Jeep?"...i thought it was funny,,,but as for the Jeep...i love it! very nice look,,,wonder how much it would cost(even though its only in the movie)...

Well, the Jeep Tomb Raider Limited Edition Rubicon is about $28,000. But it is not quite like the one in the movie -- only the closest that Jeep could get with their official Mopar parts.

The one in the movie has a lot of highly custom pieces, so would be notably more to build out.

Unfortunately, they don't have it completely together. Several of their links aren't working - they give a recursive script error. I can't get to the SWEEPSTAKES or BEST SUPPORTING ACTOR sections yet.

Also, they need to bone up on their geography! An illustration on the "SWAG" page indicates that Kenya is smack in the middle of South America... LOL!

true that about the mopar parts. $28,000 is kinda too much for a stock Jeep anyway. If i'm gonna shell out $28k, i wanna get the version that she's driving in the movie. Jeeps version doesnt have the lift, tires, winch, all the lights, thats the stuff i want.

I do like how they show both versions though, and it is cool they're making a tomb raider edition. I just wish it was the same Jeep thats in the movie.

Am I strange or what, I think that TR edition Rubicon is the stupidest thing ever. I saw it on speed vision on what show I dont remember but all I could think was, how gay is that. I mean the nicer wheels and front bumper are cool but would you really want your new Rubi to say TOMB RAIDER on the side??
