I've had 16 dogs in the past 20 years, I'm down to three. I've had a sled dog team for those 20 years doing winter camping trip instead of racing. Two years ago I put down 5 dogs in the same year, 2 being my trusted lead dogs, one literally saved my life, long story but needless to say I wouldn't be around if it wasn't for Kodie. Each dog was and is special, and it doesn't get any easier to lose a true friend. remember the good times,,,,,,,,,

That's what I love about dogs, they can, like, read your mind. They know when you're sad, when you're happy, or when you are hurt, that's what hate about losing a dog.

my girlfriends dog was put down on saturday. the dog had some skin problems and it was basically losing its mind. the night before he was to be put to sleep we took him for a walk and then got him some ice cream and while we were standing on the porch and she was locking the door the dog fell off the porch he was so out of it.
