Which Tires???

sup y'all I'm doing a christmas list thing now! and first on the list is wheels and tires for my stock ZJ. im trying to find a good set of 15x9 alloy wheels to fit one of the following Mud Terrain tires

-Goodyear Wrangler MT/R
-BF Goodrich Mud-Terrain TA KM (or KM2)
-Interco TRXUS MT
-Toyo Open Country M/T
-Other, please specify

Which one of these would work best in terms of ALL terrain handling and thread life? please be specific!

Hankook are a cheaper alternative, and very good as far as I can tell so far. I like their AT's as I do 99% of my driving on-road. Before you get MT's I'd consider doing a lift if I were you. You're really not going to need them with stock suspension. AT's will do fine for what your Jeep is capable of. Unless you're mudding a lot. I hadn't thought of that, but then your Jeep looks too nice to mud in.

Yes, it snows in Texas.

ah moneys not a concern for me, theyre for christmas! yeah i thought about ATs but they dont come as wide as the MTs do they? and yes my jeep goes mudding every weekend now. winter means alot of rain and wet/muddy terrains in Georgia. My jeeps half covered in mud as we speak

remember everyone, its a stock jeep with NO lift. im going to be using 15x9 wheels so if youre picking tires that come in 35+ inches, thats out then. Jeep would probably take 32" max and I'd have a tough time making turns

also idk how long these tires would last tell me if y'all know

TrXus MTs.

We had them on our Rubicon in 33x10.
Lots of siping and very good in the ice and rain, decent tread life about 30k, and awesome in the mud and the rocks(didnt have much tire slip if any at all on the rocks), plus they just look BA.

When I get another set of matching tires for my XJ when I can afford them it will be the TrXus, or the KM2 but i am definitely leaning toward the TrXus. Why change what works?

I loved those tires when i first read about them. they got like 10 out of 10 in every terrain possible. do they come with white lettering tho?
