... although.. interestingly... my initial question hasn't been answered.
One of my JeepForum 'net friends is a black female Jeeper (and she might even post in here). She drives a pretty red TJ and isn't afraid to wheel it! That makes her cool in my books!

Welcome to the forum idencustom. Like most here, I didn't see any any issue to your question, networking with others and finding others to hang with is always a legit thing. I should ask if there are any other old Jeepers like me to wheel with.

No need for drama here folks, we get people asking about everything under the sun so how about some of us not acting like children.

I've seen a few black Jeep owners but most of them are Cherokee owners or one of the other SUV looking vehicles. I don't think I've ever seen on it a CJ, YJ, or TJ....or a JK now. You would be a rare one around here I suppose.

And Pamo, stop trying to make everyone think you don't see skin color!

WELCOME

believe it or not, I was concerned with the same exact stereotype. I'm yellow, or asian and you really don't see too many asians in wranglers, especially lifted ones....

but I thought i'd be different and not drive a fart can with a wing thats 3 stories high

Do I see skin color, everyone does...

Normally I don't notice though even if I see it...it's not natural for me to notice it.

I grew up where it was 10%-15% white. The rest was black and latino. I grew up with a jamaican nanny. Skin color doesn't stand out as predominantly to me as it does to people in the states.

When idencustom started this thread it was merely about the particular race of jeep owners and was never meant to be a racist. It just seems to me when people start talking about race others get uneasy. We all know that there are different races of people all over why does a question about race have to lead to racism. If you can”t honestly talk about race with a person of a different race without feeling uncomfortable about you need to grow up.

Leave posts not related to answering the OP's original question elsewhere from here on. He asked a legitimate question, let's not come off like asses here. Leave the immature comments elsewhere, more won't be tolerated.
