I'm not spazzing, I just don't understand the need to know if there is more people out there of a certain race driving a certain car.

It shouldn't matter at all. Here's a forum with people that have similar interests in vehicles, why does color matter.

Yeah it's a simple question, but it shouldn't need to be asked.

The answer to your question is yes other people own wranglers...

Why should it matter if I'm black and own a wrangler?
I find that people are either racist, or overly concerned with racism...there really is no need to get pissed off at the question of whether or not there are many black wrangler owners. And please do not be hypocritical if you are going to get angry at this type of thing, where were you in the threads where people were asking how many girls go wheeling? Same ****, right? I didn't see you getting all pissed off then, did I? Just relax, who cares if he wants to know how many black people wheel, I've actually pondered this driving down the road sometimes too, he makes a valid point in that there really aren't too many, and that the main Jeep clientele is white males. Man, this world really needs to stop being so damn politically correct.

So lets just say I am green and you are black, does that throw a kink in your networking?

One day I was driving down the road with my wife and I said "There is a black guy driving a Jeep." She was shocked that I pointed it out... because I am the guy, when someone tells a story "this black guy..." that says "why does he have to be black?"

But I can honestly say that I have noticed (intentionally or otherwise) that most Jeep (wrangler) owners are "white." My dad is Mexican and my mom is white bred!

I did see a second African-American driving a YJ. Once...

Yeah, not particuliarly meant to be a race thread at all. In fact... on a motorcyle forum, i see the question asked many times about how many women ride....

I think some of you guys get it... and some don't.

Pamo... if you are green... perhaps, you could start a thread wondering how many other green drivers are out there... ?

Yea see I really don't get what the deal is with a question like the one you posted. Obviously it was not meant in any distasteful manor, it doesn't offend anyone(or should not have anyways), and is just a harmless question that really has no other meaning than whether or not you know of any black Jeepers..some of you are reading too far into this, apparently, when you ought not, just answer the question and be done with it.

I'm semi-green...I have been known to start threads on much less.

Maybe I thought you were taking this thread in a different direction in the beginning.

Carry on...

Pamo will cause a disturbance again, don't worry...

I’ve never given it much thought. Not to many black people here in Arizona. I probably know all four of them LOL. One dose drive a Jeep how ever, a 94 ZJ and works for Coke. The other I use to work with, and he drove my WJ once. The other two are married, and just know them b/c their cool.

I can are less who color you are, or aren’t my self. NaeKid said it best I think.

Never seen a black guy in a wrangler, but I have seen a black guy in a topless landrover Defender, and a black guy in a dune buggy.

I know a black guy who drives a wrangler, but he never has the top down, he never takes the doors off, he never waves back to me( ), nd he always wears this weird looking hat, haha.

If he doesn't wave to you, are you sure he knows you?

You make a strong argument there, maybe he's just afraid to wave at strangers.

Oh yeah, since I've already thrown this thread off course, I'll be the first to say it:

Your a black guy in a JK so it doesn't count, a JK isn't a real wrangler.

You know I didn't quite get you at first Pamo... but I understand you know... comic relief. I've read some of your other posts.... not bad... just a funny guy i guess... or someone with a lot of time on his hands.
