Texas Jeepers Suck

Well, at least San Antonio Jeepers do...all the people in SA do...I am sure none of the people I am talking about are on this board but...my wife broke down today in the 97 wrangler in the middle of the road. She sat there for 45 minutes crying because traffic wouldnt stop to let her get out and no one stopped to help her and she couldnt get a hold of me. Four wranglers passed her and none of them stopped...one actually stopped, honked, and laughed. Someone in a store finally came out and pushed her off the road. I have never lived in a city with so many pieces of crap in my life. She was even in her Military Uniform and had the doors off so you would think someone would have at least respected the armed services...Sitting here angry as anything...had to leave work to get her and had to vent. Plus, I dont know what is wrong with the Jeep but that is another story...

That really sucks! I always have a tool box with me and would gladly offer my services to any Jeeper I see stranded. And Jeeper's just passing by and laughing at military personel is a crying shame!

I know a lot of peope in the Military and they are damn cool people!

Damn Straight! We would have . Sorry to hear about your wife's misfortune. What branch? The people who laughed do not by any means represent the type of people who SHOULD own Jeeps.

Exaclty! I've stopped to help many people that I see stranded, and not just Jeeps. I at least ask if they need any help.

First of all "GET BENT". Just because four wranglers passed your wife doesn't give you the right to say ALL San Antonio Jeepers suck. I live in San Antonio and I'll help anybody in a Jeep no questions asked. I don't even care if it's lowered. I will still help them. So the next time it happens don't blame everybody else for your problems.

Actually it looks like he is venting about everyone in SA. SAJeep, I wouldn't take it so personally. The man is just venting.
Sorry bout the misfortune your wife had. The problem these days is cell phones. No one stops anymore because it is assumed everyone has cell phones.

I could actually care less about him, but he said all San ANtonio Jeepers suck. You just can't base an idea on 4 Jeeps. There are so many Jeeps in San Antonio.

Thanks everyone...

Thanks everyone for letting me vent and for the concern...SAJEEP, I really dont want to get into a flaming war here but...please notice what I put in my initial post..."...I am sure none of the people I am talking about are on this board but..." meaning I am sure no one that posts here would act that way and therefore they are not included in what I am saying. I dont know if you have ever lived anywhere else but SA but in my opinion, there are a lot of rude people and trashy people in this city. I am sure you are not one of them, and I am sure that you would have stopped this morning...but probably 200 people passed my crying wife and four jeeps this morning and all of those people sucked major ***. I think you might feel the exact same way if your wife or girlfriend was sitting out this morning and had the same thing happen. Anyways, thank god she didnt get hit in the intersection and it is over...just have to figure out what is wrong with the jeep...will post that over on the TJ forum...

Jeeptopless, what Air Force base is your wife stationed at? Lackland, Brooks, Kelly, or Randolph?

yeah....

It was rush hour and she broke down in the middle lane...so, she had a hard time just getting out of the jeep to get across to a phone...much less trying to push it across the lanes of traffic...She is at Lackland AFB. You in SA?

I'll be in SA in March...to Lackland AFB. I'm going into the Air Force so I'll be there for BMT and my tech school.
