I expect that I will send a very large check to Uncle Sam to cover the fourth quarter 2005.

And I don't mind a bit. I'm not wealthy, but I'm warm and well fed - and I get to drive the vehicle of my choice on semi-paved roads (Michigan drivers will understand ).

I've seen the dark side - I don't mind paying taxes. Nobody is shooting at me - and that, at one time, was a VERY big deal to me.

I have three kids in the military - so I figure my money is going to support them (which it would anyway, probably ).

And, at this moment, none of them is being shot at either, which is a bonus.

Perspective. It's all about perspective.

Oh - and Scotch. I shouldn't forget the Scotch. And THAT should be tax free .

Life is short. Enjoy your Jeep - on a worldwide scale, we are the privileged few . A lot of folks have the money...but not the understanding.

I went to do my taxes tonight, but turbo tax says it won't have the guidelines for education deductions till the 28th? WTF? I guess I'll have to wait. I WANT that money back.
