I filed but they said they will notify me when it actually gets processed lol

Yeah you should be able to get all the info from your last pay stub except for the EIN which you can just google or call up bookkeeping/payroll and ask.

final pay stub and W2 may not always match.

As noted above, the W2 has to be in the mail by the end of the day tomorrow.. then allow 2 weeks for usps to lose it, then go ask for a copy.

Numbers that don't match are low-hanging fruit for the IRS, and it isn't clear they weigh "$2" vs "$2,000,000" .. I'm a (very) small business owner, and my accountant skipped a tooth in last year's K1 filings, which was actually due to incorrect IRS instructions.. For a stretch of nine months last year I was getting mail from the IRS at least once a week. I'm pretty sure my mail carrier figured I was headed for The Big House.. the mail was "everything is fine" one week and "you're going to jail" the next..

The rule, with the IRS, is "Don't Get Me Started!"
