Tan Through Clothing.
Does this stuff really work? They say its equivalent to wearing spf 6 or 8. The only clothing I have seen is cooltan. Does anyone else make tan through clothing?

Dude they're saying that you can still get a tan/burn through clothing and wearing their clothing, is the equivelant to wearing SPF 6/8 sunscreen. It doesn't tan you

haha no I just came across it and was wondering if it was a scam. I just thought it kind of wierd only one company makes it and I thought cloths where suppose to block the sun. Tan Through Clothing sounds like a bit of an oxymoron

You know...there are certain parts of your body that dont react well to UV rays for the first couple of times.....

I don't know, I've never been burnt through my clothes. But, my father did just buy me a SPF shirt for fishing... We'll see.
*** Edit It was made by Columbia.

I've burned through normal jeans and a tshirt, really bad conditions for that to happen though.

Yeah I've never tanned through clothing...this is the first I've heard of it. But like someone said, there are areas that needs gradual exposure in order not to get a wicked burn.
I've got some nasty tan lines already...maybe I should consider this. ![]()

I've seen those tan through swimsuits before, just find a private area in your yard with sun, it'll be cheaper |
