What is your beef? You asked a question....You got one reply from a guy who said he'd hit the local junkyard and "steal", meaning take off and buy, the parts needed. Maybe no one else had the info you were seeking.

The 20 year-old boys seem to have a much better command of grammar and sentence structure than you, at least.

I hope this is just a language barrier. Inherent with pick-a-part is the idea of paying for what you pick, the stealing reference seems pretty innocent other than leaving the next guy without a shift tower. Just because a guy chooses his words differently, doesn't give you the right to come in here and insult everyone...

I didnt even realize this was in response to something I typed. To clarify, steal meant "remove and pay for". Sorry for the confusion. It appears to be a language barrier based upon the sentence structure of the OP. I know that the P'n'P's I go to search all bags and toolboxes you carry out, so stealing really isnt even an option, not to mention not right or worth it.

Hope that clears things up. And this is not a forum full of 20 years old boys, so please bite your tongue for an extra second before jumping to conclusions or judging. Altough Jerry does look like he's in his 20's, dont let his stunning good looks fool you.

Oh come on, the terms "donor vehicle" "part robbing" "wrecker snatching", are just slang for going shopping at a salvage yard. Think about it, literally stealing from the salvage yards, I don't know where you come from, but just by looking at the yard guys where I live, no.....thats not a wise option.

No kidding, But I have traded a six pack of beer for parts before. It is pretty amazing what they will take for parts on a friday afternoon.
