Oh, and we get away with it all cause' we are Surveyors wheeling on our own projects with permission from the super's......

But once the heavy grading is done we have to find somewhere else.

Good thing you have permission...

just this weekend- again- I had to point a shotgun at a 13 yr old punk on a 4 wheeler who was ripping up our roads. they wont stop, and the guns come out only then- but this kid had his own little rifle and was looking for his buddy's deer stand on our property.

i hate it, but i have been cussed by kids who are barely out of diapers... why people think any property is fair game...

All your property are belong to us.

Just kidding. I'm glad you caught the little *******. Of course, i'm guilty of doing the same thing in my past but I knew it was wrong....and would never have considered actually being a little prick if I had been caught. It's insane how ****ty this younger gen is now.

Wow, I sound like a senior crapping my pants citizen and i'm only 25.

glad that you got him! the only time I ever went on a construction site was when my brother in law radio'd me to come check out the hole they just got done rippin up for a pond a client's house. I stopped half way in and he was like...."what the hell ya doin..I got all the guys here waiting to see you blast through it"

I hammered down and caught air, ripped over some nasty mud piles and then pulled up next to his excavator. The boss, him, and the other laborers were all there wanting to take turns at it.

yeah i dont mean to sound like a complete ***- hell I'm on the south side of 40- but with the money we spend on developments, every dollar extra I have to spend because of a spoiled kid who's parents bought him a $6000 quad gives me another gray hair.

it is nice to own 1200 acres- plenty of trails to run, and I do get a kick out of removing nails from treestands and switching the flags they put up to other trees.
We cant make any traps for the kids, and the cops rarely want to come out, so anything we do the cops kind of turn their heads away... lately we have taken to carrying firearms just because we've heard there is pot growing on the property (I've yet to harvest I mean find any), and we know the deer hunters are out there poaching...

funny enough was the one kid we followed thru the woods who was pretty fat, and trying to hide behind a tree- I had jumped out of our mule early and snuck around the back side of him, my partner pulled up on him and the kid spun around to run, saw my double barrel pointed at his chest and proceeded to piss himself. Poor guy, we called his mama to come get him and she made him ride in the bed of the truck

Utter lack of respect for other people's property isn't just for large plots of woods in the country. I see ******* kids wander through yards and stuff in my development all the time. I think that's way more common and just as irritating, disrespectful, and destructive.

I bought by first house in what I thought was an ideal location on a corner lot. I had nice shrubs and shade trees. It was awesome. Soon I noticed a trail being worn through my front yard which cut the corner of the lot. These little cocksuckers on bikes took it upon themselves to use my yard as their shortcut. They were killing the grass and making a rut in the yard. They always did it fast so I could never catch them in the act. I'd hear them and then they'd be gone. What could I do anyway? I wanted to strangle the little pricks though. One day I took a piece of plywood and hammered a bunch of nails through it. I took it and laid in right in the middle of their path through my yard and covered it with leaves. A few days later I hear one of them zip through the yard but he doesn't disappear like he usually did. This time I got to stand at the back door drinking a beer while I watched the little asshat push his back home with two flat tires. That was the end of them riding through my yard.

We (my family) own 406 acres in what was once old coal strippings. It's a beautiful location, vast and vacant but the idiots with 4-wheelers and dirt bikes have access to the roads which we have no problem with. But twice lately they have broken into our camp, to party destroy and steal. Once some one was kind enough to burn part of our 5 acre front yard that was planted for deer and throw the riding tractor in the pond. And during this past summer we have found numerous spots where poached deer have been removed from the property. But we have our hands because these people have been known to start forest fires and burn down camps in the area before if anything has happened to them or their 4wheelers. I have planted a few nailed boards around our gated driveway but other than that we just try and keep the posted signs up and hope the game commision starts patrolling more often.

we got a little revenge luckily- we had an old road grader we used to grade a road for some people who bought from us years ago. one of the ****s who trespasses a lot, that we finally caught, got even by dumping sand in the graders oil fill. so rather than spend 2 grand on a 2 grand grader, i sold it for scrap. kids momma calls one day, "when ya gonna grade our roads?" "Didnt your hear, you little precious vandalized it and I got rid of it, so enjoy your freaking mudhole of a driveway"

I hated grading for them anyway, cost me too much money every year. I loved telling her about it though

This will be about $25K.

Personally I think the kid should see the inside of a jail cell at least for a day or two but my buddy is more of a busines man. The kid's parents have promised to sell the Jeep and the kid won't have another vehicle until after graduation (he's a senior). Maybe that's punishment enough, who knows? Mommy and Daddy to the rescue, again.

The amount of damages makes it a felony and it would screw up the rest of his life.

Jesus, I think that is too much, make him pay, lose his ride and all that but dont ruin his entire future because he was throwing around a little mud. We aren't all born geniuses.
