It seems my buddy is a nicer guy than I would be. After the "party" began and the begging started, the kid and the parents now have until 5 pm tom'w to come up with a LARGE check that is about twice the amount of the damages from the three trespasses or the kid goes to jail. This will be about $25K.
Personally I think the kid should see the inside of a jail cell at least for a day or two but my buddy is more of a busines man. The kid's parents have promised to sell the Jeep and the kid won't have another vehicle until after graduation (he's a senior). Maybe that's punishment enough, who knows? Mommy and Daddy to the rescue, again. The amount of damages makes it a felony and it would screw up the rest of his life.

Just a question, how is your buddy proving the other two trespasses? Did the kid admit to them?

Only time I've been on one was when a friend who co owns a local company told me to go have fun before they graded the site
He told me to make it as bad as I could to keep his operators awake |

The only time I was on a construction site, I only pulled my jeep up a dirt pile that was going to be used to build up berms and low spots. It was going to be moved again.
I hope that kid gets it bad. Sounds pretty damn bad already. I am willing to bet that his parents are looking into how to keep him out of jail etc. Not how to come up with $25,000. Keep us updated!

I've never wheeled on a construction site and never will. Probably because there is a very good chance that its a friends company or my uncles. In any case, I know that they don't end up like they do over nite and I would'nt **** it all up just for 10 minutes and some mud stuck on t he side to look cool.

I've wheeled many a site.
I always go for the ones that are under mass grading, the streets and building pads are just being cut and dressed out. I never approach anything that looks seeded, final graded, or is in a ditch form. Oh, and we get away with it all cause' we are Surveyors wheeling on our own projects with permission from the super's...... But once the heavy grading is done we have to find somewhere else. ![]()

ive never wheeled in a construction site b4...as much fun as it looks, i always ask myself, is it worth running over a nail and having to fork out an unexpected 170 bucks to get a new tire, and especially is it worth it to lose my jeep......answer is no, and no..

![]() ![]() ![]() My friend learned his lesson a couple of weekends ago. He got stuck on a Saturday night and those pictures are about 6 the next evening. They spent all day out there trying to get him out. I spent about 2 hours working on him and couldn't get him out either. They ended up paying 200 bucks for a tow truck to come out Monday morning to winch him out. The super was there and wasn't mad, he thought it was funny. The foreman on the other hand was VERY mad. |

What did he do get one tire in then decide it wasn't such a good idea? If I was going to attempt that I would have at least checked it out first then hammer the gas.

After working construction and landscaping for the last few years, I never drive on grads or lawns I know how many have nails just laying everywhere. And,I've seen more patched tires than I care to describe.
