So get out there and hunt and fish and mess around with your friends, ramble out yonder and explore the forests, encounter the grizz, climb the mountains, bag the peaks, run the rivers, breath deep of that yet sweet and lucid air, sit quietly for a while and contemplate the precious stillness, that lovely mysterious and awesome space. Enjoy yourselves, keep your brain in your head and your head firmly attached to the body, the body active and alive, and I promise you this one sweet victory over our enemies, over those desk-bound people with their hearts in a safe deposit box and their eyes hypnotized by desk calculators. I promise you this: you will out live the bastards."

Funny, that's what our cabin (Hayward, WI) looks like right now... I heard the north parts got nailed yesterday.

It's gonna be nice and muddy up there next week...I just may take a trip up!

...I thought we were only supposed to get rain down here from that system, but now the forcast says several inches of snow even down here.

This would have been great if it it was still December

As much as I love snowmobiling, I'm ready for a sunburn and sticking my toes in the hot sand!

Remember to blame global warming for that snow.

I'd take that over the tornados that tore thru here the other night. At least with a snowstorm your roof is still on your house when it's over.

Man, I need to relocate. I think anywhere along the Canadian border would be good at this point. (The Yukon would be perfect)

This is our first real snow all winter. We've got a drought going on. Long, cold, crappy winter with no moisture.

It was awesome up there last weekend when I was there, walked around downtown and hit up a good thai place and then Brits Pub for a few pints of Tetleys. Didn't even need a jacket.

Is this a bad time to mention that it's sunny and 75 degrees here?

The weather in Nebraska is crazy. Snow today and into the 70s by Tuesday.

Weather forecast.

My dad is in NE right now driving back his newly purchased 67 VW beetle. He just called to tell us the weather is bad there...but I told him we're getting several inches of snow tomorrow too.
