Spiders

This isn't a technical question but I think some of y'all will have some ideas about what to do.
In the past 4 days I have found 2 brown recluse spiders in my sisters jeep. I killed them and want to make sure that there are no more In the jeep and want to prevent more from showing up. What do y'all suggest? My Idea was to bug bomb it and hope that killed what ever others there were. Thank you and sorry for the weird question

Bug bomb it, close the doors and leave it for a day! Those are nasty bastards!

Your sister probably has a carpet installed - but I find small sprays of lubricating/rust check oil keep the bugs at bay in the Jeep and in the garage. Otherwise, I don't know how you'd keep them away... :)

SubAtomicGenius she does have carpet she drives a compass. Would that be a problem with the hug bombs? I.e. smell and he poison staying when she drives it?

I've gotta ask. How do you know for a fact it's a brown recluse?

I grew up in the Everglades and have seen them all over before and my sister in a horticultural environmental psychologist and from the 2 we saw we determined that's what they were. If not I'd rather be safe than sorry

I'm not sure how the leftover bug bomb would be in the Liberty but if you do go this route, I'd suggest not doing it in the garage. If the little 'fellas don't die, they'll run away from the chemicals and could populate the next closest location.

The only solution is to set it on fire.
I have some gasoline. I can make some napalm as well. lol

Bombs are made to go in houses, can't imagine the affects would be any different used in a car. Just more concentrated. But, lets assume the spiders vacate the interior until after the bomb wears off and then move back in.

Set it on the garage and you'll get inside and outside, plus the garage space as well.

Don't think I would want to bug bomb a car....

In a house, they recommend you wash all sheets, clothes, dishes...

If you bomb the car, wipe down EVERY surface with Lysol type wipes. And probably shampoo or at least vacuum the fabric.

Or, let the car idle in the garage and kill everything with carbon monoxide.

Or, fill the car with dry ice. Kill them with CO2.
