this song always reminds me of a trip to whistler for snowboarding a friend and i tool a few years bc.. no real reason why.. it was just a song on my ipod that i remember listening to on the plane/chairlifts. that trip ws the best time of my life, and now we're in the process of saving up and moving there this september... can't wait |

brand new colony is my favorite postal service song. and... ^ reminds me of this night last summer where me and a few friends were sitting around a fire playing guitar... and me and my friend played this. ^ that same night, this one guy started playing this, and literally EVERYONE joined in singing. it was really cool. like 60 people just singing together haha.

I used to date a bi stripper and she took me to an all-girls nightclub once (JJ's in Wilton Manors, FL). Two of the girls there got on the dancefloor and lip-synced/danced to this song.
It was, ummmmm, profound:

2004, Honeymoon in Cozumel. We did a pirate ship "excursion".
I love most all of Marley's stuff, and a lot of it got played that night, but I vividly rememeber (which is interesting in itself, considering the amount of rum that was consumed) this song beacuse just about everyone on the boat was dancing and singing along with it. Basically, the whole night, us, along with about 8 other couples, on a pirate ship with steak and lobster dinner, unlimited beer and rum, and all kinds of fun and racy drinking games. But this song was playing as we were cruising out to sea, so I'm on a smooth rum buzz, just hanging out, with the wife lookin' all crazy hot in a tropical summer dress, at sunset, on crystal blue water. ![]()

When I was a kid my family had a place down at the beach and I remember this song playing when we went down and back. This was during the 80s. I had a lot of fun times down there. Sad they sold it 20 years ago |

Back in like May of 2002 my buddy Jay bought a 92 Wrangler and I bought an 87 Silverado. For a period of several months every other weekend we went from Va Beach down to the Outer Banks of NC. I'm still repaying Capital One for some of those adventures. Sometimes it was just the two of us. Most of the time we had other friends with us as well.
My truck has a couple 10s in boxes behind the seat installed by the previous owner. I listen to a lot of music but I've never really gotten into all the hardware. That said, the truck just plain thumps. Every trip I made down there started with one disc in the tray: Long Beach Dub All Stars - Right Back The first track took full advantage of my speakers. [yt]5yG-v2A2k6g[/yt] The second track starts off with the lyrics, "I drove down south to heaven if you know I mean. If I had to do it over, I wouldn't change a thing." Our heaven wasn't geographically the same as his, but we definitely knew what he meant. [yt]rs9Zbui5W_k[/yt] 3. 4. It was the soundtrack for that part of my life. Well, that and the sound of the cooler sloshing around in the bed of the truck. ![]()

My buddy and I went to the UP of Michigan for a good old beer drinking weekend a couple of years back. Run through the Jungle by CCR was on constantly. Great weekend.
