That looks like fire damage, not smoke damage. My vote goes for it was probably a fire-er.

oh crap in that case i better run and check on my jeep...

seriously (and i don't mean to turn this into a tube bumper thread) i think the tubes look alright on mostly stock jeeps... better than the factory ones at least... they're just not very offroad worthy but as long as you're wheeling is light and the rest of your rig isnt set up for anything serious i think tubes are ok.

That tube bumper looks like chrome exhaust pipes now.. you know, the blue'd chrome.
