Some snow pics from Elk Lake today....

Had a blast, we were up there breaking trail for about 6 hours. At the deepest was about 4 feet deep powder. I didn't take my XJ cause it wouldn't have standed a chance. I rode in the 4runner which is on 37's and was pushing snow with the bumper most the time.











Now I'm gonna go take a shower and get some dry clothes on...

Yeah, the Suburban was sunk pretty good. Dug him out as much as we could and then when trying to winch out it just pulled the Jeep along. We chained it to the other Jeep as an anchor and just drug them both. So had to chain it to a tree and you can see what it did and still didn't get him out. Next we dug out again and used a snatch block and that finally got him out.

i think that suburban could use a few more lights on the front bumper

I think its a nice light setup. No more lights that I see some guys runnin on their rigs on here.

Man those are just great pictures....makes me jealous...here it is 1st day of January and its 70F outside...dont get me wrong its nice but this is just another day in south Texas...I would kill to have a place like that to escape to........
