So my Jeep just got broken into...

The cops got him and all my stuff back, plus I'm pressing charges for him cutting my back window open. Does anyone know if I can just sue the crap out of him. Call me a bad person but I just wanna make his life miserable! You don't mess with another man's vehicle... he's lucky the cops got him first!

I would just talk to the cops and see if they can work with you in pressing as many and the highest charges you can.

Unfortunately for you, the DA decides what charges to press. You can almost bet there will be a plea bargain. The most you can do is always show up for court if required to be a witness. You can also sue in civil court for damages, but if your insurance is paying for the damage, then you can only sue for the deductible. The sad truth is all this court action will probably make your life more miserable than his.

You could always pay somebody to pay sombody else to pay sombody else to fill the guys living room with cement, and and fill his car with dead skunks. that would make him pretty miserable and be something funny to see on the news. "Local construction called to alleged theif's house today when it was discovered that his living room floore had two foot of cement in it. The man who lives here is currently standing trial for burglary and vandilization of private property charges".

There are creative judges; ask your judge for a little something to teach the thug a lesson.
Like, make him wear a striped prison uniform in front of your house for 2 hours a day for a month holding a sign that says, "I broke into this man's Jeep and am very very very sorry."
I have a friend that's a court reporter and his judge does things like this.

^^ around here they make them wear uniforms that say in bold letters what their crime was, then throw them on the side of the highway or main streets and have them pick up garbage. It's always fun to throw trash at them.

if dude is breaking into jeeps he probably does not have anything to sue for,,, and a judgment is useless unless you think he will try to buy a house some day.

You will be out of pocket all your cost and probably never collect. but if it will help you sleep at night i bet there are a few things you could come up with to sue for.
