Sorry for your loss, I feel your pain. My boyfriend (well I guess ex) was killed a couple years ago by an IED while over there. Thanksgiving is always hard since he died around then. You will never forget them.

My best friend leaves in april for afganastan. He ia a Gunner in an LAV he will be just driving aroung shooting at the towel heads. The sad thing is that if one of my friends in the military die he would probaly be the first to go as he is driving around and out in the open when hes not in his bradley. He is completly ready to go over there and get his job done. Nate just left home on his way back to 29 palms. There he will have 3 and a half months of feild traning then 2 weeks to say good bye to his friends and family then 9 months over there with the scum of the earth.

It does suck. But his life was taken during a noble cause. I pray for everyone who goes over there.
