So, How many of you got a DUI over the holiday weekend?

Just thought I would put it out there to see how many of the JF members and users got pulled over and ticketed over the long weekend.

There were also supposed to be many roadblocks by the officials. How many just got stopped at a roadblock, guilty of anything or not?

Did any of you get a ticket for not using your seat belt?

I was not involved in any of the above but I did notice that there were many blue lights on the roadways.

Did any of you get killed?

Well considering I didn't have my own car all weekend, no, I didn't get pulled over. And the only time I really went anyplace with in the Fire Dept. Command Unit on Sat, so we obviously weren't going to get pulled over in that :-P

Saw more law enforcement on the road this weekend than I ever remember in the past, and everyone of the them had a car stopped. No I didn't get stopped, and I didn't get a DUI. The only riding I did was Saturday on the boat, and drank a total of 7 beers over the 3 day weekend.. But I must admit, each tasted pretty good.

I didn't work, so I didn't pick up any DUI's.

All the rain around here kinda put a damper on the festivities this year.

I was hammered on Friday, got stopped at a sobriety checkpoint right at the Thruway tollbooths and the cop waved me on.

Nope. It was one of those situations where I fell asleep earlier, woke up, thought I was just tired, and then figured out about 10 minutes into my ride that I was still a bit drunk. Obviously I couldn't have been that bad, but it still scared the crap out of me.

It had to be because of that Skyline chili. Man that stuff is nasty. I stayed right by the grill all weekend and had everyone else bring me meat and beers,so nope only guilty of GUI.

People like you kill people. I would get banned if I told you what I thought of this attitude. Grow the F up man, I've got a kid in the backseat.

^ What attitude? I'm not proud of what I said, supporting what happened, saying it's ok to do that, whatever. It's just what happened. And yes, it's pretty obvious I wasn't that drunk if a State Trooper can shine a flashlight in your eyes, ask you a couple questions and send you on your way. And what are you and your kid doing out at 2 AM anyway? But seriously, it scared the crap out of me. It's not anything I'm proud of.
