What's with all the hate? It's one picture - you need me to post one without a base pad to be ok with it? I happen to have a few with pads for when I run rapid fire drills at the range. And some without for carry.

The Pachmayr grips are not significantly thicker than the stock wooden ones. Gives it a feel very similar to the Hogue grips I have on the shotty and GP100. I guess having a grip that works for the shooter isn't the right thing to do.

Also didn't realize this was the "let's critique why your guns aren't good enough" thread.

Wow. Way to get hurt over it.

I wasnt antagonizing you, I wasn't insulting you, JT said his delta is about the same size, but i wasn't referring to the size of the gun, more the accessories, being as i also have and carry a 5" 1911. I get it that you said you don't always have the base pads, but who cares either way what I think? I said it's big, the setup on it or maybe even just the way the picture was taken makes it look all bulky.

You just said that you do it for your reasons, because it works for you? Then why get all hurt over what someone says. No need to feel insecure about your pistol.

Jeebus, why does everyone freak out over the smallest comments now-a-days.

Dude, lighten up. No one is freaked out or hurt over it. I just called you out for saying my gun was covered with "bulky crap" which I think was an uncool move. Heck, we carry practically the same piece with the only different being finger grooves.

But no one is freaked out. It's all good.

Really nice Benelli!

And that's a super nice 1911. Would make a great carry gun. I have a similar one, although I changed out the grips.

Details on the AR-15? It's almost as pretty as your Jeep.
