You all have awesome guns. I just have a single .22
I am going to buy a new shotgun and a 1911 soon. I sold mine to pay the rent a couple months ago.

I just cant give up this .22 though. I love it and keep it with my survival gear. 12 round magazine and semi auto.

You didn't ask for it, but here is my 2 cents on that, Ken. I love Sig guns in general, but NOT THE MOSQUITO! I have never made it through one mag of with a 'Squito without a failure. Even with CCI standard. I have a saying. If it won't run with CCI Standard it won't run with anything. The pickiest .22s I have ever seen will run with that ammo. Not either of the 2 'Squitos I have shot.

The P22 runs much better. Just get a new one or learn the serial #s. Some of the early ones had big problems. If you buy used you want to make sure you don't get one of those.

I personally love the Browning Buckmark. A little ammo picky but they feel just like a 1911 and they drive tacks. Lots of cool accessories available. I just tossed this sight on mine.

No problem, that's why I posted it here, for advice. I'm glad you spoke up, I didn't know that about the Sig. I liked the look of that P22, all I know is I didn't want a little "black widdow" palm type of .22. I wanted something bigger that would be more accurate. My friend has a ruger that looks like the one you posted, I never really got into the look of those (yea I know it's petty) but his was very accurate as well, he's been trying to get me to get one like that too, but I'm stubborn

I hear you. The Buckmarks and the Rugers are not the best looking guns. But in the price range they are the best .22s IMHO. The Rugers are less ammo sensitive in my experience and they are as good as the buckmark. I just don't like the controls as well and even the Ruger 22/45 feels less like a 1911 than the Buckmark. Now if you want to talk .22 revolvers....

The NAA .22's are a last resort, not first assault! Don't let it fool ya, they have a place. It's a misconception that they are little more than a novelty. My little .22mag at close quarters is just as deadly as any other firearm. I invite anyone that doesn't think so to be shot by one if they really want to prove their point!

I have quite a few .22 pistols & revolvers, and the Ruger, Browning, and Colt models are all IMO high quality. I have shot all of them, and own the Ruger & Colt. Great, accurate, and user friendly. The P22's are fun to shoot, and decently priced. My nephew uses one for concealed carry.

I have one of those, it's an old high standard double 9 nickel plated .22 revolver. I got it from my dad after he passed, he bought it when he was young and after everything he went though and all the guns he sold, that was the one of his he kept. I took it out and shot it, took it home and cleaned it/oiled it and put it up to keep as a collector.

This is not mine, but it's identical down to the hollow points

I've got a home defense in my XD .45, and I have my carry in my Kimber Ultra CDP, I wanted something like the P22 for the range, and range only. Sorry I didn't mean to knock the smaller .22s, I just mean I wanted to be able to take a bigger one to the range and be able to cloverleaf at 25 yards. I think that would be pretty tough to do anyway, but harder with a real small .22.

Here ya go. Colt Frontier .22lr/mag convertable, and .22lr Lord & Lady single shot Derringer's. I love some .22's. They are just one of those universal things. Just about everyone has shot some sort, or owns some sort of .22.
