Unfortunately no. Not sure on the year, probably around 43-44 ish? It's a Steyr made, after the Germans got ran out of Poland, but not one of the very late Steyrs. On the way out, they loaded up the machinery and took it with them.

Probably built with slave labor and it shows.

The earlier ones had an additional thumb safety. The real early ones had a slot for a shoulder stock and nice blued finish. This one just has a grip safety and decocker.

I've got a Star B with Waffenampts as well. Another pistol similar to the 1911.

I've always been a Mossberg guy in the 500 vs. 870 debate, but I may be switching sides...

Just picked up the Remington 887 Tactical, and this is an excellent shotgun.

Remington calls it the "Tactical Choke". Ships installed with this model 887.

Not mine...mine will have to be pried from my cold, dead hands. I have no desire to hide under the bed when they come knocking.

How come some threads will let me post pictures and some wont?
Since I cant post pictures... I have two guns.... One is the Springfield xd 9mm and the other is a Beretta 96 - Vertec .40 Not as cool as some of your guns but I love them! Plus I get to carry the Beretta as my service weapon in a year
