Made it look like a piece of cake over and over in the clip. Granted it's a promotional piece. I'm holding out in the off chance that someone has some 1st hand experience with it.

The ATF, "can, will, and has" done just that. There may or may not be a grandfather clause, but... I wouldn't hold my breath if it goes south. Remember there was a niffty little piece of paper that came with the Akins stock that claimed legitimacy also (which cost 4 times what this one MSRPs for), and when the ATF "changed their minds", you basically had to give it up, or become a felon. No refund, no credits...

Beautiful thing about the BATF, they basically work on interpretation of their own laws... and at any given time they can change their mind at will... much like the Bill Akins design.

That said, I think that stock would be a lot of fun! 223 is one of the easiest calibers to accurately fire from the shoulder, even at a full auto ROF.

Yes they can. They "reinterpret" the laws any time they feel like to ban things like this. They did with the Akins Accelerator stock. First they said it was legal, then changed their minds. If they determine that AR-15 stock to be an NFA "machine gun", it will be illegal to own, as the machine gun registry closed in 1986. You will have to destroy the stock, or turn it in to the ATF with no compensation, or keep it and risk getting tossed in federal prison for 10 years.

Just some updates, nothing really new.

Been playing around with my SA GI 1911, and it's become a really nice everyday carry gun. I've been enjoying tearing it apart and refinishing it from the inside out, even more than building ARs. Filing down metal is surprisingly theraputic. It's lighter, easier to grip and reload, fires better, and even IMO looks nicer than when I first bought it.

Also, finished updating the .44 Mag Super Blackhawk. For as big a boom as this gun makes, the long barrel, bigger grip and scope make it shoot super tight groups. I get now why this is such a popular hunting handgun.

One other new addition.

Decent shape for a cheap bird gun that is older than me. No real reason other than I didn't have a double barrel shotgun before. And now I do.

i cant post pics here, but between me and my dad weve got 3 12 gauges, a .410, colt .45 1911, .22 revolver, and a .308 high powered rifle. for anyone who says guns kill people, i guess pencils make mistakes, cars cause accidents, and spoons made rosie o'donnell fat. and how do i feel about gun control?, break into my house and find out. my dads a pistol marksmen. he took a home defense course with my neighbor. he only used 1 target for 300 rounds. out of the 20 some people in the class, only him and one other person got the full 300 points. the other guy was in the navy. and he was there with another guy from the navy. just to give you a perspective.

I'm planning on picking one up soon. I love that makarov styling.

Just picked up a remington 597 to teach the GF how to shoot. She loves it. Shoots really well for out of the box. It was bad buying a gun though, now I want another ha ha.

Kinda what I've heard too. I've HEARD they're pretty solid guns. You can just get em' for so cheap, that it's almost worth it if it's not that great.
