Shipping Doors?

I'm looking to ship some doors a few states over and wanted to get some input on the best method of doing this? What company have you guys used (UPS, Estes, etc). Trying to get a cost to ship so I can figure out a deal I have going on.....

Try FedEx freight. Go to FedEx.com and you will see a tab for freight and then LTL (less than truckload). For class, I would use 70.

Or uship.com

Depends on the doors. UPS is delivering these soft doors today to me. PA to LA for $58 but they aren't heavy.

If it is less than 150 lbs, ups will ship. Anything over 120 lbs is costly tho. You can ship LTL, but that will require adding them to a pallet which will cost a minimum of $100 in shipping cost, let alone packing and such. O and class 85 is the generic class these should fit in.

I think it would be cheaper just to drive from ohio to Iowa. Maybe rent a truck from Uhaul and have the buyer meet you part way?

That's exactly what the plan is. Just waiting for the other party to get back to me.
