It's Re-airing tonight on SyFy at 9 ET I believe. I streamed it last night with a bunch of buddies. I was dying

Also, it helps to watch with plenty of beer.

The Jeep is a manly device. And a womanly device. An American device. It’s a fitting instrument to transport the free people of a free nation with the respect to which we are entitled and the dignity that we deserve. Okay, we’re a little crazy to have a Jeep for a daily driver. But if we go off our meds, we might wind up in a Prius

Local brewery is playing it here in their taproom and they're serving a special beer just for the movie! It's kinda big deal

He's an angel dressed in oilskins; he's a saint in the "Sou'wester,"
He's a pluck as they come, or ever can;
He's a hero born and bred, but it hasn't swelled his head,
For he's just the U.S. Government's hired man.

The effects were AWSOME.
The budget had to be at least 1,000,000

pennies

I don't think it was supposed to be a comedy but it was the funniest movie I have seen in a long time! The Jaws references were hillarious.
"6 people went into the water, one girl came out. The sharks took the rest"
"We're going to need a bigger chopper"
the chopper crash scene was obviuosly at least three different helos. One was a cheap RC toy

Yeah, he kept referring to it as a jeep but it was an old school toyota land cruiser I believe.

Best movie ever!

It was an old land cruiser, but I never heard him say it. I also wasn't fully committed to watching the movie so it probably just slipped past me without me realizing. Next time I watch it I'll pay a little more attention.

Hahaha I mentioned that to my friends when we were watching. He calls it a jeep a few times.
