Selling a car....and then regretting it.

I was watching Barrett-Jackson this weekend. A certain black 1971 340 'Cuda brought some memories back of my black 1972 440 'Cuda that I foolishly sold a few years back. So I penned a few words about it.

Lessons Learned: Never Sell a Prized Mopar Musclecar

Anybody else ever suffer through the same mistake?

that mustang mustang iacocca A few of those cars seemed hard to sell, like the 00 cobra R didn't jump like I had expected at first.

But no, I've never owned anything worth much value so I was always happy to get rid of them

I had a 72 chevelle that got wrecked. The lady that hit me was driving a company truck so her insurance was going to fix the car exactly like it was but my dad(I was 17 at the time) decided it was time to put me in something nicer. He told them to total it and give us the money. I still think about that car.
This is the body style but was all primed. I was 17 and couldn't afford to paint it yet.

I sold my first vehicle about this time last year that I bought for $500 when I was 14. I worked all summer to buy it, and ending up selling it because I thought it had too many miles (220K). In all reality, it was incredibly reliable, and only let me down once (okay, I may have ran it out of gas while doing some urban crawling lol). I ended up selling it and picking up my '95, which has been insanely unreliable and is costing me all kinds of time and money.

Needless to say, if I could go back....

Here's a pic of the old Jeep, saw it on craigslist the other day, really starting missing it again.

good looking car, and while a chevelle is on my cars to own list, its gonna be a 69 or 70..

I might be a little biased but I prefer the 71-72 body over the others. I would take a 66-70 if the price was right but thats where I draw the line.

The other chevelles IMO...

I had a 1992 White Chevy extended Cab 2500 6.5 turbo Diesel Pickup Truck 4x4. That kind of looked like the one in the back ground of that Blue 1972 Chevelle Picture and the Paint looked the same as that one.
But that was a cool truck though could pull anything Not the prettiest thing in the world though. We called it the Dalmation Truck

It's just a thing. If it bothers you that much, buy another one. If it's not the same, spend enough money to track down the one you sold and buy it back. No need to regret selling it when there is an obvious solution.
