Selling axles locally- am I asking too little?
The cost to ship these (~$300) make it not really worth advertising anywhere but local, but I'm not sure if I'm leaving too much on the table. Just wanted to get a few opinions from the board before I list them.
It is a Dana 30 front and Super 35 rear combo. I wanted to clear $1050 for both, including all Ox equipment- cables, shifter, etc. I'm not including my Currie steering with the front. The Dana 30 has: Ox shifter ~$100 Ox Cable ~$100 Ox Locker ~$800 Yukon 4.10 gears ~$150 Complete Dana 30 ~$350 (whatever they go for) Installation of gears $250 The Dana 35 has: Super 35 kit plus Ox locker ~$1050 Ox Shifter ~$100 Ox Cable ~$100 Yukon 4.10 gears ~150 Complete Dana 35 ~$100 Installation of gears: ~$250 So, not counting the axles cost since they came with the jeep, I have ~$2800 in the axles. However, the rear Ox is broken. I spoke with the Ox engineers and sent them pictures of the locker and they thought it should be repairable. I can not promise that though. Is my asking price of $1050 fair? This is not a for sale add. Just need some opinions.
