Scooter suggestion

Wife wants to get a couple of scooters to ride on the weekends this spring. I've always ridden motorcycles, but this could be fun.
Any recommendations from people who've owned them? Been looking at various ones on the market, from overpriced vespas to dirt cheap chinese ones.
I've heard the chinese ones pretty much copy honda designs, but the build quality can be questionable.

Any help would be appreciated

I hear the lark 3 wheel scooters are great for mall crawling but cant really turn at speed with out tipping, unless you grew up riding three wheelers then you know what to expect.

Yeah, those three wheel scooters seemed interesting. But we're probably searching for something among the 2 wheeled variety.

I have a Honda Metropolitan 50cc. It's great for around town. Max speed is 40mph.

Also check out the Ruckus scooters by Honda. If I got another one it would be one of those.

Pretty big following for them, and decent aftermarket support.

groms are pretty cool, but if i'm dropping 3g's i'll just pick up a used sportbike lol.
although once used ones hit the market, they'll be pretty tempting as a toy. i wonder what their top speeds are, probably like 60?

Yeah i wouldn't buy a new one, would definitely consider a used one though. I'm pretty sure their top speed is something like 60.
