russian mail order bride???

This is going to sound kind of weird. I have been single for the past couple years and working full time while going to school (just now finished) and haven't really actively been looking for someone until recently. I moved home with my parents 6 months ago for financial reasons, and will be moving out again in 6-8 months. Anyway, I have never had the best of luck talking to chics that I am attracted to. I am very outgoing and can talk to anyone for any reason, but as soon as I am attracted to them (her) I never know what to say to break the ice. Once I have talked to them the first time, I have no problem with conversations. So I decided to join Yahoo personals for the hell of it to see who was on there and about 3 weeks into browsing profiles I came across this one profile that sounded decent so I dropped her an email. A couple days later I got an email back and she states that she is actually in Kirov, Russia and had some friends create the account somehow. I was pretty skeptical at first as to if it was legit or somebody messing w/ me. Her email address ends in .ru which would leave me to believe she's in Russia and the emails are kind of broken up. Apparently she can understand english no problem, but it is faster for her to write everything in Russian and then use some program called the interpreter to convert it to english. She seems intrigued and has lots of questions about US life/culture and the importance of family. I asked her for a picture of her with her name written on a piece of paper next to her to verify that it's really her and not some idiot messing around with me. Any comments? She is gorgeous, and I've always liked foreign women (looks/accent) and they seem to have better values than most american women. If she is legit, is she just looking for a green card? Kind of weird scenario, but I'd like to think there is something to it. The only thing that I could think of regarding this was is this what a russian mail order bride its, lol.

just be careful, not trying to rain on your parade, I watched a show on this subject. Things aren't great over there, most of the guys are on drugs and the women just want a way to the U.S. After shes here for two years she can leave you and by law you have to support her and that happens alot. My cousin just married a Spanish woman, not Americanized. He keeps telling me I need to do the same, he says it's an insult to their family if they do not take care of you, claims he never had it so good and she's extreamly "HOT" on top of it but she was already here in the U.S.

i would have to agree with this. i say go for it but very careful. alot of women over there are just looking for an escape. best of luck to you

I thought it was crap too, but my old 1st SGT married one, He is still in Bosnia as DoD force protection and she lives with him and on his days off they travel back to the Ukraine. He is happy, she is smokin hawt and they are both very happy been married over 6 years. But having said that, C Y A ! A lot are mafia lackeys so just watch out.
