You need 25 posts to be able to post in the classified section. That's to prevent people from just signing up for the sole purpose of buying/selling here and then moving on.

I understand when your selling things. but to limit posts on the wanted section seems a little silly. Kinda limiting members paying and none paying with more than 25 posts to a smaller population of people to get rid of their stuff to.

Little harsh don't you think? That's a great way to invite people to the forum.

isha0018 they do that because they get alot of spam posts even in the for sale and wanted sections, they just do it to make sure you are a real person and it can only take a day or two to get to 25 posts if you help where you can or even get help in the tech sections.

Thank you for the reply. I am not trying to rock the boat by any means. I have trolled this site for awhile now before I got the XJ planning what exactly I wanted to do with it. Never really had a need to post so never registered. Now that I have my XJ . But I do appreciate the rules to keep order and understand there need.

Also if you have a spare minute you should fill out your profile so that when you ask a question we know exactly what you have, just makes life a little easier for all, and you wont keep getting the fill out your profile line.

By the way you don't get any post count for posting in the General Discussion area.

That is a very good idea and I will when I get a chance to look at the truck more indepth. I have a completely stock 97 XJ but I will be doing a suspension lift, maybe SYE, front and rear axels and rims/tires before winter arrives.
