Be sure to take a camera and take pictures of your Jeep in front of all of the landmarks.

I'm utterly jealous

I've always wanted to take a roadtrip like that, especially in my Jeep

Mt Rushmore is neat the first time you see it. But I can't even count the number of times I've seen it, living 10 minutes away and all.

any good trails in your neck of the woods?
what about Deadwood? the only reason I'm going there is I love the show! My wife keeps telling me "you know it's changed in 150 years" but hey wild bill is burried there!

Thats going to be an awesome trip! In 2002, I took rte 66 (or interstates nearby) from Chicago to Flagstaff, down to Phoenix where picked up the wife at the airport, then to Sedona, Grand Canyon, Aspen, Jackson Hole, Yellowstone, Devils Tower, Mt Rushmore and then home. I've gone back to Az about 10 times a year since

Lots of trails in Az. See if you can fit Sedona into your schedule. I've been on Schnebley Hill Road and Broken Arrow trails near Sedona, and several more thru the state.

I found a cool website http://www.markdstephens.com/adventures.html

Good luck on your trip!

Yeah hit Sedona while in Arizona, Broken Arrow is really pretty and a great trail for a slightly modded jeep. You can still have fun in a pretty serious rig there too but thats not what its all about, its more about the views.
