Road Rage Incidents

That's it right there. I wanna hear about all of your road rage incidents. It doesn't have to be while you were in your Jeep. You could be drivin a fricken Kia for all I care. Although I really hope you aren't.

I've got a couple...

I was coming home around midnight one night in a 50mph zone when I caught up to this guy doin about 40. He had a cool little car so I was like, "what is this guy doin driving under the speed limit?" Usually I'd ride his *** because I have no patients for idiots like him, but I stay a decent distance behind so that I won't piss him off. I probably wasn't as far back as I should have been, but by no means was I riding his ***. So he slams on his brakes and pulls over to the side of the road. I'm like, "great, now I waon't have to follow a moron all the way home." Except once I get past him, he decides to step on it and get about 5 feet from my bumper. So I'm just thinking whatever, I'll let him be a retard. We get to this lonely blinking 4-way stop, and he pulls right up beside me on my passenger side. He's got his window down and he's screaming his head off, so I roll my window down to see what he had to say. MY GOD, I have never heard so many F-bombs in the same sentence... It sounded something like: What the **** is your ******* problem you ****** ******* why are you so ******* close to my ****** ******* bumper why don't you ******* learn how to ******* drive you stupid ****** *******!!! I smiled, gave him the finger and drove away. The friends in his car looked embarassed for him.......

This one is just funny...

I passes a guy doin' about 30 in a 50 in broad day light. He high beamed me.

What kind of stories do you have?????

I don't really get too angry behind the wheel. However it is a good feeling knowing that if someone really wants to play tough, I have sold steel bumpers on both ends.

Good protection for when you "accidently" need to slam on your brakes.

Not me, but a good friend was driving down to the Florida Keys and on 7 mile bridge, a guy in a 350Z starts tailgating him. He's in a beat up Rx7 with a sun roof. Well, the guy will speed up to where his lights aren't visible in my buddy's mirrors and then slow down...rinse and repeat... high beams, horn honking and hand out the window.
My buddy is already doing 70 on the bridge which is speeding...and after a while he can't take it, so he reaches in his cup holder and tosses a handful of pennies out his sunroof. He can see them ping off the hood and windshield.
Well, the guy hits his brakes and backs off...then passes him and flies off. My buddy gets off the bridge and the guy pulls in front of him from off the road and keeps my buddy from leaving, then a sheriff rolls up and pulls them over.
The guy in the Z starts screaming about my buddy throwing rocks at his car, and my bud tells the sheriff...take a look in my car...do you see any rocks?
He tells the sheriff about the guy tailgating him and how he was freaking out...the sheriff told the guy in the Z to head out or he'll ticket him for reckless driving. The sheriff told my buddy that the guy just got his Z that day from the paint shop and there were some nice dings in the paint, and asked him what he threw... he said pennies from heaven... got off scott-free

There's been many times where guys in Scion's think their the **** in my town. Theres this one light about a mile before my house where it merges to one lane. Every time a Scion (especially TC's) is next to me, they want to race. Simple enough, my Jeep gets ahead of them, and they get mad and tailgate me. I live on the main road, so I don't want to them to find where I live, so I drive around the neighborhood to play it safe. But one time this guy was so determined to finding out where I live. Luckily there's a dirt road by my house with a trail. So I hopped onto that road, he continues to follow me. I flipped it into 4Hi and hit the trail...Needless to say, I lost him.

The reason i was spooked was he was in a huge dodge chromed out truck that probably thought he was a badass and would want to fight or something of the sort.
I would have set him straight with my baseball bat though

I was driving one day and this lady in a car cut me off and tapped on her breaks.. So I sped up around her and she desided to ride my ***, so I slammed on my brakes, her car went under my bumper and folded her hood. I pulled over right away and she kept driving. When she went by she looked all confused. Not scared, just confused.. Never heard anything more about it. I am guessing she didnt have insurance or something. It mad my day. just left some paint on the bottom of the bumper.

in HS I was a passenger in my GF's car. Her car stalled (it was a pos) in a construction zone. No biggie she got it started right back up but the guy behind us was cussing, flipping us off etc. So he passed us first chance and flipped me off again. So I returned the favor. At the next stop light, he gets out of his car comes over to my window, reaches in and starts choking me. I'm 16 and this guy is easily 40 and he's choking me in broad daylight at a stop light.

I went to hit him and my GF tried to grab my arm . . . with her nails . . . I got one off, but had some serious scratches on my arm from the GF's freak out. Anyway, he let go, jumped into his car and sped off.

I hate it when people tailgate me. so installed some super bright lights in the back. flip of a switch, and they are on. blinding the **** behind me. also.. whenever I am on the freeway, and some ****** behind me is trying to pass, i'll wait till I see to semi trucks, or 2 people in the right to lanes going slow, and i'll slow down to their speed so the ****** behind me can't pass at all. it's fun as heck to do.

Well yesterday the population of TN was nearly reduced by one dip %&!* driving an old 280z after he cut me off. What he did not know was the F-150 I was driving I don't like anyhow and would love to get rid of it. So after he cut me off with only a foot between his rear bumper and my front I decided he must not mind someone driving right on his rear bumper. Oops almost forgot we just installed some aftermarket headlight assemblies with high powered driving lights that come on with the highs. They will hurt your eyes even in the daylight so of course I turned them on because I wanted to make sure he could see me. He started flipping me off then went to brake checks. On his third brake check as soon as his brake lights came on I made a hard lane change and smoked the tires all the way around him. He nailed the Z but it was to late. As soon as I cleared his bumper I returned the favor by cutting him off. He tried to get back around me but I just took up both lanes so he could not.

Then the #$% wipe decides to get up on my rear bumper. Simple solution I reach down and pull the e-brake release and slam the e-brake peddle down. Now I'm as I watch the smoke pour out of all four of the z cars wheel wells he did not hit me but it was a near miss. After that he tries to follow me but I worry he might mess with the truck once parked or he is a nut with a gun that I would have to kill so I make a few turns and he gets stuck at a red light. I will remember the black primer Z and the boy driving it he had a head that looked like a flounder with his eyes almost touching each other. So one day when my Jeep is back on the road I will have some real fun. Heck my bumper sits at head level to little cars maybe I can fix his eyes for him and straighten them out.

Chris.

I was driving along one day and some asshat in a Tahoe comes speeding up behind me and is tailgating me like no other. Well its two lanes so he could have just gone around but no, he just sits there and rides my *** all the way to the next light. Well I gave him the birdie out of my sunroof and I think that set him off because I could see him in my rearview mirror flipping the **** out. So we get to the light and I am turning left. There are two left turn lanes and I pull up as far as I can next to a motorcycle so this guy can't get next to me. Well he pulls up behind me and is still flipping out and then all of a sudden the door opens. Usually that doesn't bother me because they are just scrawny guys trying to act tough. But his guy is like 250, at least 6ft. and built like a rock. Needless to say I didn't stay there long. I pulled into the intersection on a red and merged into the traffic going straight. I will admit I was getting worried for a second. This guy could have kicked my *** easily.

Another one. I am driving along and am coming up to a light. The road is 3 lanes and then right after the light the far left lane merges and it turns into two. Well there are a bunch of cars at the red light and none in the left lane and the light turns green so I gas it and fly by the guy in the middle lane and merge in front of him. Nowhere near even cutting him off. Well I guess he didn't like it because he was dropping 4 letter words like it was going out of style at the light. The light turns green and I am turning and he is going straight. So before I make my turn I give him the finger and he hits the roof. He cuts into the turn lane, almost causing an accident and starts riding my ***. So I gas it and am up to like 80 on back roads and he is still back there. Now I just start messing with the guy because I can tell he doesn't know the roads. I know them like the back of my hand because I grew up there my whole life. So I get him reallllly lost way back in the country and then ditch him. I'm sure it took him a while to get out of there.

Last one. I'm going to go pick up a friend from school (I get out a period early). The road leading to the school is two lanes each way and then in front of the school goes to one. There is a lady in the right lane going way slow so I blow around her maybe doing 50 and then go on my way. No big deal right. Well I'm sitting there chilling in the parking lot waiting for him with my windows down and this lady pulls in behind me and tells me "I just want to let you know that you were very reckless back there and I'm reporting you to the Sheriffs office. I laugh in her face and then she drives away. Well about a week later during class I get called into the office to the resource officer's office (He is a sheriff that is at the school). He tells me to tell him my side of the story. So I do and he proceeds to tell me that the lady told him I was doing 90+mph passing her in oncoming traffic. He was cool about it though and knew it was BS. No way you can do that in school traffic. So I guess he called the lady back and told her that giving false info is a crime and not to call in again.

Now when I see people with road rage though I just smile and wave. Seems to do more damage than anything else.
