Coolant itself doesn't raise the boiling point of water. The fact that pressure is created is what does it. Imagine a pressure cooker. That's why coolant would spurt out if you removed the cap from your radiator if its hot.

Coolant is a mixture that's supposed to help water from freezing and prohibit rust.

I think heat would rise faster. If my high school memory is correct, I think my science teacher said gravity is why we have an o-zone / atmosphere.

At first guess, I'd say 45 MPH. But, this is obviously a trick question and there are many other factors that could play a part on the answer.

No. Heat rises based on density. Gravity pulls on more dense fluids. If there is no gravity hot fluids wouldn't rise above cold.

There is no way to know. If you knew the force the wind had on the boat you could figure it out with vectors.

Hot gases rise, heat doesn't move in any specific direction due to gravity, it always radiates from hot to cold though.

The heatsink would continue to radiate heat, but without anything causing the movement of air, they wouldn't work nearly so efficiently, heat will still dissipate from hot areas to cold areas due to conduction, but convection (movement of hot gases) distributes heat much more quickly.

Depends on the speed measuring equipment, I'm assuming you're suggesting that the speed measuring device merely tells you the speed of the wind relative to the boat (say a regular anemometer).

In that case the 55 represents the hypoteneuse of the velocity triangle with the cross wind representing one of the other two sides, consequently the true speed of the boat is the square root of the 55 squared and the 10 squared, which I make out to be;
sqrt((55 * 55) - (10 * 10)) = 54.08 mph

I thought about it the other way. Say you have 55mph forward movement, the wind pushes you to the port side at 10 mph, if you just throw the element of drag out of the window (because I hate math, lol), you could figure the hypoteneuse as the actual speed. (which is still pretty unscientific, without figuring force vectors and all that geeky stuff). Do it that way and you come up with 55.9 mph. Either way, there's no way that boat is getting off the water without a treadmill.
