PSC roll cage vs. skids

I've saved up some cash before going back to school in august for either the poison spider sport cage & install, or the jeep medic engine skid, and kirby gas skid. Once I'm back in school, there'll be very little offroading...maybe 3 or 4 times a year. So I'm thining maybe the cage for on-road safety...What would you do is the question???

That cage wont give you much on road saftey.

Personally Id go with the cage. If you decide to go with skids it may not fit with the lift you put in later on.

Im in the same situation (after I get the current parts pile sitting in my garage installed) and considered skids before. Im going to go with custom long arm and strech so no point wasting money now. Plus I can just make my own skids after school

luckily, the jeep medic skid will work w/long or short arm lifts.

You don't think the cage would help much in a highway roll? It would at least make me feel safer.

id personaly go with the skids. i would think that the stock roll cage would be strong enough for a hard roll. but i could be wrong.

I'd go with the skids, because you'd feel a bit dumb having a cage and a hole in your gas tank when you do wheel it.
